RIVER RAFTING

Costa Rica offers some of the world’s best white water rafting. Wild and untamed, these big, brash rivers plunge through spectacularly beautiful, largely unexplored tropical wilderness. Enjoy our local tropical rivers, whether an expert or beginner, nature lover or thrill seeker, this expedition is for you.

1. Half Day Tour:
A Class III/IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, though a beatiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Rafters should be physically fit and ready for adventure.

Price: Half Day $69 per person
Needs: suntan lotion, sunglasses with croakie cord, bathing suit, waterproof camera, sandals & beach towel.
Includes: Transportation, bilingual guide, fruits, snacks and beverages.
Pick up time: 8:10 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.
Rating: Moderate / challenging. Age restrictions.

Note: 3/4 day available only in dry season.

2. Full day Tour:
This full day adventure includes a journey into the very remote back country of the Rio Savegre for a 4 hour guided rafting trip with class II / III rapids. There are great swimming holes and a large variety of birds.

Price: $95 per person
Needs: suntan lotion, sunglasses with croakie cord, bathing suit, waterproof camera, sandals & beach towel.
Includes: Transportation, bilingual guide, fruits, snacks, lunch and beverages.
Pick up time: 9:10 a.m.
Rating: Moderate / challenging. Age restrictions.
