LOSE YOURSELF IN PARADISE

Welcome to Manuel Antonio! Home to Costa Rica's most famous National Park. Welcome to a place where luscious tropical rainforest meets breathtaking golden sand beaches. Where monkeys and rare birds create an unforgettable symphony of jungle sounds. Where the water is always 82 degrees. And the morning sun greets you with a big, beautiful smile.

What makes this adventure playground even more special is that it's easy to get to - no other park in Costa Rica boasts such convenient access and good infrastructure, including ample public transportation and complimentary hotel beach shuttles.

Manuel Antonio and the adjacent port town of Quepos are the perfect alternative to the runaway development of the Caribbean or the Mexican Riviera. Hotels average 20, not 200 rooms, and 2 -rather than 22 stories. Think of it as the boutique alternative to the normal tourist destinations.

The general area has a population of about 12,000 inhabitants, a docking pier and safe anchorage. Built by the United Fruit Company, the town of Quepos was constructed in the 30's. Initially, it was used to export bananas, then palm oil. Today, its main source of income is tourism (which is a far better option than previous non-sustainable industries). Manuel Antonio is a Quepos suburb and has one primary school and one Catholic Church. Starbucks? Golden Arches? Sorry, not for at least 100 kilometers in any direction.

Manuel Antonio is considered the most beautiful coastline in the Central Pacific. The perfect backdrop for "The Blue Lagoon" or "Treasure Island," with beaches and rainforest hand-sculpted by mother nature herself. Discreetly integrated into the most ideal jungle hilltop, the eco-designed Hotel Si Como No provides comfort and luxury to all its guests. From our location, you can visit miles of sandy beaches, the National Park, mangroves, the Private Wildlife Refuge and butterfly garden, or enjoy a variety of water sports and local shopping, all conveniently located close by.

The charming town of Quepos boasts enough nightlife for the young and not-so-young to "salsa" until the wee hours of the morning at the local discos. Or, if you're in the mood for something considerably softer, all you need to do is enjoy a peaceful evening on your balcony under the stars listening to our live acoustic trio, "Los Tres Caciques."

At Si Como No, we're proud to make our "national treasure" available to all who love and respect nature.
